Most franchise operations require a very large franchise fee, coupled with hefty royalty payments, and controlled operating requirements. This means that the return on your investment and a reasonable profit are much harder to achieve. Sales promotion, advertising and product purchases are just a few of the items that are usually controlled by the franchisor. Our initial investment fee is set at a very reasonable level and there are no royalties.

You will be entitled to use the name Vintner's Cellar and other trademarks and logos belonging to the licensor.

We will assist you in finding a location that will blend with the clientele to be served. This is based on our current locations and experience.
It is imperative that you obtain the best possible lease of your premises. We will play a very active role to ensure that you receive all the benefits available.

Our experience will allow us to suggest certain things that you will require in designing your store layout. This includes assistance in purchasing equipment, furnishings, etc.

Hands on assistance to obtain required municipal licenses, retail sales tax and other required permits. We will also set up a record keeping system.

Based on our experience, we know what items you will require to get up and running initially.

Operational training of the franchisee and employees for, but not limited to, two weeks. The first being held at the brand new state of the art training facility where you will be accomodated in our Corporate, luxury 2-bedroom condo, and the second at your location. Training is provided at the Franchisee's expense as regards to employee's time, wages and expenses. Complete computer set-up, training and ongoing support is available as part of your initial start up costs.

Both technical and operational support is available at all times. Our network of experienced wine makers and entrepreneurs will allow you to deal with any problems that may arise from time to time.

Applicants wishing to obtain a Vintner's Cellar License to operate within a specific area must meet our strict criteria. As we indicated earlier, we are not just interested in selling you a business - we want to be sure that you are committed to making it a success because, obviously, if you are profitable, so are we.

Previous knowledge of wine making is not necessary, however a commitment to our extensive training program is crucial.

Financial resources to meet initial requirements and sufficient reserves to meet current personal obligations for a period of time must be available.

Some experience in managing people and/or retail sales experience will make your involvement that much more enjoyable.

Some basics knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting will allow you to keep track of your financial status on a day to day basis.

But the most important component is a sincere desire to own a business and devote long hours in order to ensure success for you and your family.
